Portable installation
Smart Mobile Studio can also be downloaded and installed with the SmartUpdate utility. To make a Portable Installation, download and save SmartUpdate.exe to an empty folder. Select the MASTER -channel for the official version. You can also follow the DEVELOPMENT-channel to get all the latest changes.

Editions
The difference between the three editions is that the Professional edition has a visual designer (for forms and components), while the Basic edition is intended for code-only. The Enterprise edition has database connectors. I.e. wizards to help you generate generate Smart Pascal code for RemObjects SDK and DataSnap servers.

Smart Mobile Studio is free for educational purpose 🙂
If your school or your local code club would like to use Smart Mobile Studio in the education, then you can go to the educational site and fill out the form.
The educational license key is not intended for individual students. Get your teacher or someone at the school administration to send a common request on behalf of all students.
